MODERN SLAVERY POLICY

Zydus Pharmaceuticals UK Ltd, a subsidiary of Zydus Lifesciences Ltd, is committed to preventing modern slavery in all its forms within our business operations and supply chains. We recognize our responsibility to ensure that slavery and human trafficking are not taking place within our organization and to the best of our ability not associated with our business activities. This policy sets out our commitment to combating modern slavery.

We will comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to modern slavery, including the Modern Slavery Act 2015.


2. Our Supply Chains and Business Activities

Zydus Pharmaceuticals UK Ltd is engaged in the development, manufacture, sale and distribution of generic and branded healthcare products in the UK and overseas. Our goal is to improve the lives of patients by providing access to quality medicines. We work with a global network of partners for contracting out activities in areas such as research and development, manufacturing, warehousing, transportation, testing and release of product.


3. Policy Statement


3.1. Prohibition of Modern Slavery


Zydus Pharmaceuticals UK Ltd strictly prohibits any form of modern slavery, including forced labour, human trafficking, and child labour. We are committed to upholding the principles of human rights, dignity, and fair treatment for all individuals.

We will actively engage with our suppliers and business partners to promote transparency and ethical practices. This includes communicating our expectations, through our Supplier Code of Conduct, regarding modern slavery and requiring our suppliers and business partners to adhere to the same principles, and partnering only with reputable organizations who share our values.


3.4. Continuous Improvement

We are committed to continuously monitoring and improving our policies and procedures to combat modern slavery. We will regularly review and update our modern slavery policy to reflect changes in legislation and best practices.


4. Communication and Implementation

This modern slavery policy will be communicated to all employees, suppliers, and business partners. It will be made available on our company website and any other relevant platforms. Zydus Pharmaceuticals UK Ltd will ensure that all employees and relevant stakeholders are aware of this policy and their responsibilities in upholding it.


5. Reporting and Monitoring

Zydus Pharmaceuticals UK Ltd encourages and provides channels for all employees, suppliers, and business partners to report any concerns or suspicions of modern slavery. We will investigate and take appropriate action on all reported cases.

This statement is made for the current financial year pursuant to section 54 (Transparency in Supply Chains) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
